Binary Voids

A flat screen on the wall that makes you forget
that there is a wall and a world behind it.
An electronic surface as a window into another world,
fed by abstract, binary data streams.

Virtual worlds in computers are, in themselves, an abstraction of the real world. Often, the aim is to achieve as much realism as possible. The abstraction becomes greater when the number of polygons is reduced. Geometry already contains the graphic and abstract elements, so structure and texture are simulated like everything else. This is a loose collection of virtual photographs in which I work (mostly) with this abstraction of an abstraction. This is a sketchpad. I don’t yet know what the final outcome will be - as mostly :-)
