Arkham Knight features the usual ‘superhero versus supervillain’ storyline. Conveniently, the population of the metropolis of Gotham City is evacuated right at the start, so that the computers of the time – which were relatively underpowered – don’t have to render crowds as the story unfolds. What remains is an empty, atmospheric, rain-soaked city at night. As was typical for the time, the photo mode is rather limited and always attempts to place the main character at the centre, which makes it extremely difficult to take photographs without Batman in them.
